Hey, folks. Here's an acknowledgment that my information at http://www.thevideojunkie.com/s8/ is so hopelessly out of date that I believe my best course of action will be to tear down that site and start over! I am preparing new pages to take their place that will bring the site content into modern times.
Meantime, while I'm working on that offline, I suggest you save or print out anything from the old site you might desire to keep. What will replace the site will be fewer pages that will be easier to keep up to date and maintain.
All suggestions are welcome, as well as content contributions in the form of articles, tips, film stills, photographs, etc.

Glad to hear it, Mike. Lots of new info in the S8 world, particularly with the new film stocks. Congrats in advance on doing this.

seems to me, Super 8 has been given a new breath of life! - there must be as many film stocks available as there were in 8mm cin?'s hey day?
all we need now are
* postage-paid development (again)
* new equipment (besides Beaulieu)
i cannot understand why some genius doesn't come up with a 'home movie' dv compatible projector - which will project at 18/24fps but also have a dv speed setting for transferring to dvd technology/capture?
